Book Review/s to share: It's so nice to actually read a refreshing, but true book. I am so glad that domestic violence is being heard and that a lot of women are taking a stand. Sometimes it can be a little too late for others, but in this case I am so glad for the author's couragement to break free. This in itself will encourage others as well. Be ready for a whirlwind of events, a lot of crying, and anger in this book. I recommend this book to anyone that needs a spiritual upliftment, cause this book will deliver!!!
Bound to Be Free- As a man who loves and respects all women; this is an insightful into the heart of a beat down in a bad relationship and lifted up by her faith and love. I often asked myself what would make a woman stay in an abusive relationship. Marva finds the confidence to tell her life story of love; while exposing the pain and true price of happiness in a relationship gone badly. I thank Marva for her honesty. The book provided understanding to a mother's love and selfless sacrifice for her family's safety.
This book was amazing, it gave me an insight on what really happens and why a lot of people are scared to break the cycle. The book was a page turner could not put it down, stayed up to 2am just so I could finish the book. At the end I dont know if I wanted to go and beat the man up or hug all women that are going and has gone to through this horrific mess. This is a must read, you never know when you could be a blessing to someone that is going through this.
