Bio: Robin Renee Ray is known as a Multi-genre Author. She's only been writing for four and a half years, but has come to love everything about the world of being a novelist. She began in the paranormal romance genre, then jumped into horror, then right on into suspense thrillers. 15 novels and numerous short stories later, she is well on her way! Robin resides in Southern New Mexico with her husband, David, very close to her two granddaughters.
How many book/s have you written?: I have written 15 books in all and on the ending of my 16th.

What genre/s would you like to write in?: I believe that I have written in every genre that I've ever wanted.
Please share with us who or what encourages you to write and why?: The thing that encourages me the most, would be my beautiful granddaughters! It was the birth of my first grandchild that snapped me into the world of being a writer? Something that's a bit hard to explain. Writing was never a dream, it came in like a brick falling from the sky and hit me right in the head. Afterwards it was all of the amazing people that I have met along the way, some four years later, that has inspired me to be the best novelist that I can be.
How long did it take for you to write your book/s?: I'm a bit prolific, so it didn't take to long for most. Some a few months, and others a few weeks.
How long did it take for you to publish your book/s?: My first 'published' book took about a year?
Who did you publish with and why?: I had published my Bloodbreeders work with a small company, but released myself from their contract and am now waiting to hear from a new company as to whether they will be picking it up. Damnation, a short story of mine was published with Damnation Books.
The rest of my work that has been published has been self published. 'Dark Knight of the Skye' and 'Short Stories of Twisted Tales'...I enjoy the fact that I can send some of my work into companies, and self publish other works.
Please share with us how you prefer to market your book/s?: I prefer to market my books in any form that I can, but would much rather leave the hard stuff up to someome else! I plan on doing more interviews, joining sites likes this one, as well as places like Coffee Time Romance...places that have a lot of traffic. I have several sites, as well as a blogspot and a website. I've placed my work on numerous webrings and linked up with several authors and their websites. One could say that I have a lot to learn!
Please share with us any event/s that you have planned in marketing your book/s: I can honestly say that all events are in the future and have not even past the thought process yet..LOL. I am a very reclusive person and if I can get my work out there without using me personally, then I will do it!
Do you wish to share any additional information with our readers?: I would like to thank the readers for their time! I am known as a Multi-genre Author, but a great deal of my work holds my love for the warped and twisted. I have had my work compared to Stephen King's gore and Alfred Hitchcock's "Huh?" then told that it was a great read??? If you do read my work, I do hope you enjoy! Have a wonderful day...Big Hugs~
