Book Review/s to share: There is so much packed into Destiny’s Denial the story is gripping. I couldn’t put it down until I finished the last page but don’t take my word for it, you really need to read these books.

Ms. Purington writes a compelling novel. It was easy to accept the time travel and her descriptions of Scotland were excellent. I was surprised by several twists in the plot that I didn’t see coming...
~Once Upon a Romance

But promises were made, destiny yet sealed, and Ares, God of War, seeks him. Caught within a vortex of Scottish politics, Greek Gods, and newfound desire, Rowan and Melpomene are doomed to separate, wallow in eternal despair. Will love surpass? Give them each other? Or will tragedy reign without its muse and rip them apart forever?
Book Review/s to share: "Highland Muse is a short enjoyable journey with the Muse of Tragedy Melpomene and the object of her affections, Rowan. Dionysus interruptions at inappropriate moments adds some humor to the mixture. The thrusting of Greek gods into Scotland would at first seem like it would be jarring but it works. Melpomene's certainty that Rowan is her true love and Rowan's denial, despite his obvious attraction to her makes good tension."

“Fast-paced action mixed with smart and sexy humor, Highland Muse tickles the soul and keeps you turning pages. Purington puts a fresh spin on the Gods of Olympus and undeniably leaves you wanting more.”

~Highland Lassies Reviews
I love a story with unexpected twists, striking dialogue and happily ever after endings. Sky Purington’s Highland Muse kept me guessing toward that happy ending. A pleasure to read, I enjoyed revisiting the Greek gods and Muses. I laughed, worried and pondered over Rowan’s experiences with his muse, Melpomene. Ms. Purington wove together the greatness of Scottish highlanders and Greek gods with seamless believability.
Chiomara Ruadh, Druidess of Ulster, will not be swayed from prophecy. If the Gods of Ireland request that she couple with the king, so be it. If it is also their wish that he marry another woman, who is Chiomara, a simple Druid, to stand in their way?
Erc Breac, king of the Dal'Raida, can only think of Chiomara. Her beauty is surreal and the tales that follow her across the land unsurpassed. But that is not enough when faced with the obligations of a king. His people must come first. His future wife and queen, Macha, must come first. Yet, fate is a slippery thing. Will Erc risk the whole of his kingdom for what lays in his heart?
Book Review/s to share: Sky Purington's The King's Druidess marries a possible past as it were, to fantasy. This evocative tale immediately draws the reader in. It is not merely a window to another world, but a world one can easily believe in, a world one searches the histories for. From the circle of stones to the power of that which is foretold, this is wild and beautiful and beguiling. Purington exhibits a richness of language and an imaginative vision. This story is suggestive, and haunting. It is carried by the power of desire, the power of passion, and the power of desperation. There is a richness here that is hard to convey.
From the mists of this other world rise both prophesy and loss, both love and the threat of tragedy. Certainly, the druids bring a sense of a particular history, but other legends are called in as well, for those that have read widely of times of old and legends half-forgotten will recognize names like Taliesin. So many references are hidden inside other meanings in this tale, richness develops further upon re-reading.
Sky Purington's newest short story, The King's Druidess will delight not only the faerie fans but those who love all the tales of old.
