“Belong to Me” by Phyllis Campbell is a touching historical romance that had a little something for everyone, sexy love scenes that are very tastefully done, adventure and of course romance. I found this book to be engaging at times and very flat at other times. However, if you are looking for a decent historical romance then pick this book up.

In Diana Flori’s “The Thorn at his Side” you will find romance at its finest. The sexual scenes are done very tastefully. The romantic side of Ms. Flori shows you a vivid imagination as to what romance and love should be.She stays within the historical era as she writes this historical romance.I found this to be titalating and action packed all the way to the end. The epilogue tells of a future that was prepared for during the romantic episodes unfolded within these pages.
Unforetold writing excellence is in this novel and I would highly recommend it to those who enjoy a good, steamy love scene and romance on the high seas.I would love to read another novel like this from Ms. Flori and I believe you would too!

Salvation Bride written by Anna Kathryn Lanier was a delight to read. Predictable as it was, I still found myself hoping that love would prevail and Sheriff Slade would put aside his stubbornness and just tell Laura how he felt. The twists and turns Ms. Lanier put her characters through were believable and I found myself smiling and happy at the end.
Ms. Lanier is a gifted writer with characters that make you laugh, cry and even make you angry. I, for one, will look for more books written by Ms. Lanier, so, grab a cup and sit a spell with Salvation Bride, this reviewer guarantees you won’t be disappointed.

Sardinian Silver A. Colin Wright
Sardinian Silver is a tale of love, life, and self-discovery. It explores the moral and social dilemmas that plague our society today. A. Colin Wright addresses these issues in an interesting way through the main character and his journey through Sardinia.
Although the story line is a bit slow at first, the pace is definitely picked up in the second half of the book. Wright's uncanny ability to “transport” his readers into the action by vividly describing the Sardinian countryside also make this book an interesting read. I would recommend this book to anyone who is into a good romance novel.

Sparta Rose Ginger Simpson
In Sparta Roseby Ginger Simpson Roselle “Ellie” Fountain has two problems. One is the foreman, Tyler Bishop, who seems to be working his way into her father’s heart, and she thinks Ty wants her inheritance which is Fountain Ranch. She hates being a “woman” and wishes she were a man so that that she would finally win her father’s approval. It doesn’t help that she starts getting these strange feelings for Ty.
Her second problem is that the Bryant family wants her father’s ranch that he has worked so hard to build up.Jeb Bryant will use any means to get that ranch for his father, Duke Bryant. Will Ellie be able to win both her father’s respect and figure out how to save the ranch from the Bryants?
I have found this story to be extremely well written and the characters portrayed to be very lively.Ellie’s temper was fun to read about because it got her into a lot of vicarious situations. This reviewer found Ellie’s temper to be similar to her own and likes that she could laugh at it and empathize with her at the same time. This author is reminded of another author, Janet Oke, whom I enjoy as well.Janet would be proud of this writing.

Tender Return Ginger Simpson
"Tender Return" by Ginger Simpson is a wonderfully done romantic love story set in south Texas during World War II. The characters of Megan and Ryan are so complete that I found myself pulled into their romance, holding my breath at every turn. The turmoil that Megan goes through when Ryan is shipped overseas brought tears to my eyes and I almost found myself praying for his safe return. Although I do not normally read romance novels, I found this one to be pleasurable and would recommend this story to anyone who enjoys reading.
