Based on a true story, “Embezzled Love” by Ginger Simpson shows you the story of Cassie…a woman who yearns for someone to love her. She tries an internet dating site and meets a smooth talking cowboy named Evan. Despite her family’s objections she allows Evan to move in with her and start a business with her. Follow the love story as Cassie learns that not everyone is as they seem.
I found this story to be an engaging story and the characters very believable. In this high tech age we need a reminder that not everybody is good and decent and we need to have our guard up in the faceless world of the internet.

In Dangerous Love by Momodou Sawaneh we have the story of Mary Gomez who struggles with her family about following a traditionally arranged marriage when she has found love with a schoolteacher named Same Sey.Sam Sey also has to fight his parents for a chance at love instead of a traditionally arranged marriage.
I found this story intriguing with the mayhem and murder.I also loved learning how the old African marriage rituals were done. Overall this is a good novel and I hope that the author continues with Sam’s story.

“Run Away Bride” by Rita Hestand wasn’t an easy read at all.I kept wanting to throw it across the room and shout “STOP repeating that!” Ms. Hestand has chosen a topic that’s been so overdone, I mean, there’s even a Julia Roberts movie cliché.
While it seems that her characters can not get over their pasts one reference to this probably would have done well. The main character isn’t the only one to rehash trivial issues – her new love interest does the same before he’s even met “the run away bride” and can’t seem to let go of another episode in a bar.
There are moments when the story doesn’t flow, almost as if parts were cut out – possibly by mistake?
She has ample opportunity to add interesting details that would make the story a more enjoyable read, like when it comes to the best friend and the parents of the bride, but instead chooses to keep rehashing the same “can’t betray the grooms secret” issue. Again I say the author has chosen a subject that has been overdone and brought nothing new to the story.

In The Return by Jan Bowles, Marielle Stevens never thought her presumed dead husband would return back from the “dead”.Now she has a lot of explaining to do to her husband. First off can he forgive her for marrying his best friend? Secondly is that can he forgive her for not telling him about his daughter?
This book, at times, reminds me of Castaway the movie at times with various differences. The book is well written and has a couple of hot and steamy love scenes for those of us that love the hot stuff in a romance novel. The cute little father and daughter moments are so cute that it makes your heart melt.

“A Matter of Trust”:Abby August and her daughter are hiding from an abusive husband. She is a gifted psychic who makes her living reading customers over the phone. While working she gets a client that becomes her stalker, plus she gets nervous when ex-FBI agent Matt Layton moves in next door posing as a Hollywood writer. Will she learn to trust Matt?
Matt was hired to find Abby and her daughter by Abby’s husband. Will Matt be able to rescue them from a serial killer/stalker and an abusive husband?
I found this story to be extremely well written and it kept me on the edge of my seat. The love scenes between Matt and Abby were hot and steamy yet tastefully done. I also loved the bond between Abby’s daughter and Matt.

Wild Heart written by Shannon Nicole Wells was a wonderful story of families brought together by love and death in the 1880’s. Ms. Wells has a wonderful way of taking you to the edge of your seat as you root for the good guys and pray that the couples involved find the love that they are so deserving of. The portrayal of the Shewana finding Christ brought this reviewer to tears and was totally unexpected given the circumstances.
Wild Heart is a good story and with a competent editor, could have been a great read. I will definitely look for future books from this very gifted and talented author. *** 3 Stars Cynthia Hepner, Reviewer Mind Fog Reviews
“A Cowboy’s Dream” by Anna Kathryn Lanier intices you to read further into it right from the beginning. You want to see the romance right away which I think this author lagged a little on.I found that once the romance was accomplished this author did a great job in connecting the two main characters.

Altered Beginnings Destiny Booze
In Altered Beginnings by Destiny BoozeLeigh Lawson is finally free of the drug filled life she had led. She finally comes home to her best friend Emma Combs’ graduation party and finds out the whole town hates her…except Jason Altarez, a hot reporter who feels there is an even hotter story with Leigh being back in town. There is only one small problem he falls for his story.
Leigh’s brother, Shawn Branscom, is a cop who wants his sister to go undercover to get evidence against one Freddie Garrett, a big drug dealer in town. As Leigh puts her life and the lives of her loved ones around her in danger by going undercover will she learn that she can trust Jason? Can she stay clean while being undercover?
I loved this story from beginning to end as well as everything in between. The characters were well developed and I could see and feel everything that they were seeing and feeling. I loved the scenes where Leigh is wondering if she can trust Jason.

The Mercenary's Marriage Rachel Rossano
Rachel Rossano has written a captivating story of love romance and chivalry with "The Mercenary's Marriage". The story flowed like scenes from a movie. I could see the vivid descriptions of both the characters and the background scenes. I was drawn to the moral characters of both the hero and the heroine and amazed by the realistic atmosphere as the story unfolded.
