In Deer and the Tiger by Ayisha Blevins, tells the story of the deer that live in the magical land of Twilight Door Wood. The story shows how the deer came to live there and how they fight to preserve their land and their way of life.
This reviewer finds that the basic idea would make a wonderful children’s book however right now the book needs a lot of work to make the story better and definitely needs editing. I saw no page numbers and numerous grammatical errors that would be fixed with editing. The story itself could use more interaction with the elves and the author needs to expand more on why Slash was banned from Twilight Door Wood.

Nicky loves taking care of the fish in his father's aquarium. He knows each type of fish by heart, and makes sure that they all get enough to eat and the water temperature is just right for them. His favorite sea creature is of course, the octopus, with his many legs. He makes sure to give the octopus special treats.
Then one night, after Nicky awakens to a startling noise coming from outside his bedroom, he makes an amazing discovery about his favorite animal....
Nicky's Nocturnal Octopus is a fantastic book that will entertain both adults and kids alike. Written in verse form and fully illustrated, it will keep children interested in learning about the sea and what creatures can be found there. The additional information at the end of the book about Octopuses also makes it an educational resource for children. This book is a definite must-have in your children's library.

Piggy Wiggie's Great Adventure is a delightful tale about one guinea pig and her travels around the home she lives in.MJ Daley-Prado gives her readers a glimpse as to what the world around us would look like through the eyes of a guinea pig. The cute illustrations and additional information about guinea pigs and how to raise them make this book a perfect source for any child learning how to take care of their first pet. I predict this book becoming a “classic children’s read” in the near future.
Princess Andrea’s Birthday Surprise by Ginny Christensen is a heartwarming tale about what Andrea gets for her eighth birthday. I found this to be a really cute story for any little girl around the ages of 6 to 7 years old. Although there is a small editing issue I will be recommending this book to a school librarian that I know.
