Book Review/s to share: Imagine, it is 1899 in England. You are poor, weary from hard work. Things are plain and simple. No TV, phones, cars. It's a drab, dreary life. You are walking home in the lamplit darkness. From nowhere a figure lands on the ground up ahead and straightens up to look your way. You can see it is a tall, athletic figure with mostly black on and a helmet and some kind of cape or wings. Then as the face turns toward you the eyes start to glow red and a hideous smile froms on a face that resembles the devil himself. As you question if you are dreaming or sane an insane laugh rises up from the figure and engulfs the night and as it gets louder the noise saturates your entire being and paralizes you with fear. You have just witnessed what few in the 1800s did and told their story to the unbelieving public. Springheeled Jack is the main character of this book and finding his remains is what takes two englishmen on an adventure that will change their lives. Please give a read to this book with interesting characters and fast paced plot. If you like Oliver Twist, Phantom of the opera, Jack the Ripper, Jeckel and Hyde type of books, then this is for you.
