People never understood the problems Edgar Allen Poe was going through. His stories and poems may have been odd and on the dark side a little bit but that’s what made him such a good author. It’s also why I like him so much. As for me my poems are pretty deep and usually from experience, which is what makes them good. It makes the reader feel everything as they read it whether it be fear or joy. That’s how a writer gets their money.
Book Review/s to share: Review by Maryann Nooner Poetry is not always the easiest form of writing. A poem can mean something different to everyone that reads it. You can tell good poetry by the emotions that it brings to the surface. In these poems there is a dark side to the range of emotions coming through. This collection of poems may be difficult for some readers to understand exactly what the author is trying to say, and what emotions are being sought. Ayisha Blevins has a unique way of putting her thoughts together and brings out the interest of the reader. Her poems are not light, but they are well done. When you read them you will feel, and that is exactly what she wants you to do. She is sharing her feelings and thoughts as she has lived them. This collection will be appreciated by those who enjoy poetry.
