Have You Seen My Childhood - Alessandrina Lerner
Have You Seen My Childhood: In Memory Of Michael Jackson
Alessandrina lerner

Backcover Description: Have You Seen My Childhood
By Alessandrina Lerner, Amandine Love Lerner

"Have You Seen My Childhood" is a sacred shrine written in honor of all the children of the world. Dedicated to the memory of Michael Jackson, this book started with a simple poem, "Befallen Angel", which captures the essence of MJ's painful journey through a life rooted in childhood abuse, to evolve into a full-fledged Poetry book for all abused children. Like MJ, the author, Alessandrina Lerner, is a survivor of childhood abuse who had never experienced unconditional love until she embarked on a journey of self-discovery. This Poetry book bears witness to this journey. From the "Growing Pains" Alessandrina experienced as a child, through the "Inner Reflections" that started her on the path to recovery, all the way to a new found "Self-Mastery" which has enabled her to explore dimensions of life unknown to her before.

This book is not just a Poetry book, it's the testimony of the epic journey a lonesome soul embraces to deliver herself from the hopeless fate of her "Midnight" childhood and find the elusive "Essence of Love" she had searched for her whole life. Armed with the poetic language of introspective imagery and beautifully adorned with colorful Art work made by the author's young daughter and precocious Artist, Amandine Love Lerner, this book delivers a timeless message of love and forgiveness on the path to healing from childhood abuse, offering the hope for all victims to discover "What It Is To Be Loved" in the seemingly most unlikely place, i.e. at the very core of themselves.

In the words of MJ, "Heal the world, make it a better place for you and for me, and the entire human race..."

May this book echo the words of this beautiful soul into the heart of all that lives, so that all souls may realize their higher self and live a happy and wholesome life...
50% of the proceeds from this book will be donated to benefit abused children. For more information on Alessandrina and Amandine, please visit, www.letloverule.us

With the collaboration of her daughter, it blossomed into a timeless message of love they wish to grow and echo throughout the Universe beyond the illusory boundaries of space and time. If, like us, you yearn for the bliss one finds at the core of love, we invite you to fall into the moment with us to revive a taste of childhood once forgotten.

May this be the beginning of a beautiful journey to the core of all that lives and manifests into all worlds. Take a second to close your eyes and center yourself before you dive into The Essence of Love.

Book Review/s to share:

"The Essence of Love by Alessandrina Lerner is unique collection of poetry and songs, conveying a message of love, hope, and healing.  These simple pieces inspire the reader to meditate on the love that bonds us together instead of the hatred and anger that tears the world apart.  Adorned with beautiful artwork created by Alessandrina’s young daughter, this book would make a wonderful gift for art and poetry lovers alike.  I give it four hearts… an easy and uplifting read."

-Laura Ann Ford, Author of McCullen

“The Essence of Love” by Alessandrina Lerner is a book of poetry about the many different types of love she feels. The writer writes in such depth that it pulls you into her world and her thoughts on love.

Some of the poems blew my mind away as they are the same thoughts that I have for someone and the one poem, “Love ain’t…Love is” tells the truth about what love truly is.  I would highly recommend this book for anyone that loves poetry especially poetry about love.

Title: The Essence of Love
Author: Alessandrina Lerner
ISBN: 978-1-4489-2124-9
Publisher: Publish America

One thing is clear from the first introduction to this book; that Alessandrina's words resonate with a lyrical touch. Her prose reads like poetry, and her poetry reads like songs, with starkly absorbing black and white images spaced in between.

The refrains between stanzas left me wishing I could hear the melody, as if rhythm and rhyme called out for completion. The words called out for love, divine in the arousal of early morning, like “fired up passion, and rays of wisdom.”The Nectar is Now / Ever so Present”says a line in LOVE…IN YOUR HAND, with love leaving no fear and lighting the dark, just as promised in the introduction.

A stylized image of bamboo shoots is beautifully place before a poem that starts in early morning, drawing the reader's gaze to a world seen through glass. And the poem ends with a beautiful childlike drawing of interconnected physical and spiritual worlds. Pictures almost substitute for song, providing visual music to the words.

Time, love and life all fly The wheel passes you by No time to live No time to smile is the refrain from RUNNING,” which draws the reader from frantic rush into a place of freedom and feeling. Some of the words remind me of favorite songs that my sons listen to, but the poem “I KNOW YOUR PAIN” startled me with its reminder of my own teenage years. Perhaps I should have looked closer at the image preceding it. “I was just a kid” breathes a refrain revealing scars that only love can heal. But
this voice in my head / All the ‘no goods’ it fed,” eventually leading to the “keys of Eden.”

I finish reading and still want to hear music; I’m almost fitting the words to tunes I must have heard before, and perhaps it’s no accident that they’re tunes from my teenage years. I enjoyed the collection, and I like the way it's constructed the flow from love, to pain, to innocence. The pictures are well-chosen and sometimes deeply affecting, and the overall effect is something more than the sum of its parts.

Alessandrina's introduction, though lyrical, really didn’t really hook me, but her poetry did, and I enjoyed the book.

The Spiritual Enlightenment in the Age of Cybersex
Spiritual Enlightenment in the Age of Cybersex
Alessandrina Lerner

Backcover Description: A Word to the wise: if you feel the need for Spiritual Enlightenment in the Age of Cybersex, this novel might be just what you're looking for.

If you feel somewhat disconnected in the land of light-speed messaging, and a little lost or downright entangled in this World Wide communication Web we've weaved around ourselves, then it might just be a sign of the times ... that you are finally ready to take a quantum leap and leave the confines of your conditioned mind.

As you expand your mind, why not open your heart to Love and God too, through somewhat unconventional, I concede, but nonetheless authentic reincarnations of Shiva and Shakti?

Sure, they may think they're hip, speak the hood, and their frames of reference may be limited to Hollywood movies and Podcasts downloads , but their forthright modernity doesn't take away from their authenticity, charm, and inner wisdom too! Not unlike us, they too are lost souls who wish to merge back with the Divine. Ok, they may have become a little too caught up playing mind games and impersonating God, but they still long for the peace one finds upon reaching the blissful state of Nirvana.

Now, let's take a quick peak at the story... Shiva, hardly conscious of his Infinite Consciousness and having grown increasingly bored with epitomizing Nothingness, is willing to trade it ALL for a glimpse of experience. With his new mind set on exploring the limits of his Manly nature, he embarks on a journey towards the pleasures of the flesh, in hope that he'll find an outlet for his escalating horniness. All the while, Shakti, a frigid celibate who longs for the Nirvana one finds in merging with the Divine, is herself becoming uncontrollably infatuated with Lenny Kravitz, whom she confuses for God.....

In this perfect "Bermuda" Love triangle, which never takes itself seriously, you might lose yourself for an instant but you'll also learn what the enigmatic mystery of REAL LOVE is all about...

Spiritual Metamorphosis - Alessandrina Lerner
Spiritual Metamorphosis
Alessandrina Lerner

Backcover Description: There's a land beyond all illusions, where thoughts and words are superfluous and all judgments, prejudices, and concepts shatter. It's a land beyond space and time, one that's nameless, desireless, and selfless. It is perfect, simply because it is. And if you sit still long enough, quiet the mind, and listen to the sound current within, it will take you there. And once you reach onto the shore of Love, it will become the heart of all your thoughts, words, and deeds too.

Alessandrina Lerner invites you through simple yet penetrating poetry to embark onto a journey to discover this strange land that lies within each and everyone of us... Beautifully adorned with illustrations created by the author's daughter, Amandine Love Lerner, who at only 10 years old has already been a featured Artist at the world renown Art-Basel Exhibition, "Spiritual Metamorphosis" epitomizes the apotheosis of Alessandrina Lerner's poetic career. While this collection brings together poems written over the past 20 years, the majority of the work included in this book sprouted in the past year, which has proven extremely prolific and creative for the author. This poetry book covers a vast array of subjects ranging from racism, mind conditioning, and other man-made afflictions all the way to Love, Spirituality, and other Godly themes. This is a book about self-discovery, self-love, forgiveness, and ultimately personal transformation, the real "Spiritual Metamorphosis" kind...
