Comments: A CHILD'S HEART ‘
from his new Poetry book ‘"Too much Ado" by Tony Angelo Taliaferro

Open to adventure and love with a sense of self-confidence, through new endeavors that established
a sense of loyalty and strength. Illusions of grandeur are unsighted through peer pressure and
slight of heart.
Any children can easily be given a misrepresentation of amnesty to avail. By their parents so
called given gifts without any sense of worth or honor. In a heartbeat their lives can change due
to no action of their own.
Anger and frustration seem to prevail seemingly because their parents fall out of love. A child
might think that people only hurt you because they have been hurt in the past. And could that be
why marriages don't last?
But as their life goes on waiting for a ship to come in instead of passing harmlessly into the
night, they fell broken and abandoned with no recourse of losing a parent through divorce.

Comments: Virtu

Virtu hidden in my face,
Lays ethereal amongst my soul,
Heritage is by no means, disgrace;
My nexus is more than colored coal,
Image of heart is not askew,
Essence flows allay,
Brain of unknown brings about a new,
Body just summits without a sigh,
My blood trickles my birthright,
Though of spirit, sire of dominion;
Plucked from the depths of hearts insight,
Who I am, is not your opinion;
My Destiny can not be rapine,
For it is my own truth,
Waxed by Faith confine;
Found in the blood of my youth,
Cherokee legacy is not a wag,
It is crimped by a negative mind;
Covered under injustice a soiled rag,
With open intelligence, love can find;
Vapid expression never more,
Inheritance given a soulful agog,
Society prejudice though crimped, now an open door;
Verve lifted from the darken smog,
Dismal past, Brighten Future, initiate Present;
Deliberation within the source of revenue, become genesis;
The Creator is always Omnipresent;
Only disbelievers distrust,
My Virtu will always wax true,
It is my fortune, my destiny, my being;
No one can change it, not even you;
For I am founded on the foundation of well-being.

The Beauty of God

Look at the trees

And what do you see?

The beauty of God.

Look at the flowers

And what do you see?

The beauty of God.

Look at the sky

And what do you see?

The beauty of God.

Now, look in the mirror

And what do you see?

The beauty of God.

The Joy in My Joyful Life

I have joy from growing mature yet staying young in my heart.
I have joy from watching the sunrise and sunset.
I have joy from giving so much time for improvement.

I have joy from being grateful for my wonderful and peaceful life.
I have joy from exploring interesting things in this challenging life.

I have joy from gaining knowledge, understanding, and wisdom.
I have joy from reading for it is the foundation of wisdom.

I have joy from continually improving my capabilities and abilities.
I have joy from seeking for my hidden talents.

I have joy from cooking, creating, and trying new recipes.
I have joy from drawing and painting beautiful pictures.

I have joy from traveling and experiencing living in various places.
I have joy from interacting in new cultures.

I have joy from helping, comforting, pleasing, and encouraging others.
I have joy from having faithful friends.

I have joy from making new friends.

I have joy from cherishing the old ones.

I have joy from singing beautiful songs.
I have joy from whistling melodious melodies.
I enjoy all of these joyful things.

Comments: Blood, Sweat and Tears...wordsmith: Brother in Law

So long ago, yet still so real,
So lost in time but I still feel,
A painful blow draws first blood,
An eerie sound, an awful thud.
Was that ten or twenty licks?
Will I die, can I be fixed?
It hurts so bad, what did I do?
My mind’s a blank, I beg of you.
Please don’t hit me anymore,
I can’t think of what it’s for.
I don’t know, am I to blame?
I thought it was just a game.
I taste the blood, salty brine,
Is that me I hear crying?
What about my sweaty brow?
I hold on, I don’t know how.
The tears run silent as I weep,
From my soul is where they seep.
I bite down hard,  it smells so bad,
I feel the grief, the pain, the sad.
I sense the anguish and dismay,
Of those who strayed this awful way.
Their blood, tears, their sweat I see,
On the walls surrounding me.
I hear their cry, oh help me please,
I’m begging you, I’m on my knees.
We little boys, cried loud in pain,
But no one cared, nobody came.

Comments: Excerpt from "Have You Seen My Childhood:  In Memory Of Michael
Jackson"

BeFallen Angel
(To Michael Jackson, our Earthly Angel)
Miami Beach  12-25-2009

When I was just a kid
My heart danced to your song
Entrancing melody
The whole world crooned along

Then came the thriller years
That filled my preteen doom
Black and white merged as one
From ballroom to bedroom

Kid, befallen Angel
Of Fear, reads in your eyes
Man, eternal Seeker
Torture shows in your smiles

Kid, befallen Angel
A Genius of a kind
Man, eternal Seeker
A poison of the mind

As I reached puberty
Your music drove me wild
From underneath the drapes
Authority, defiled

A voice that pierced my soul
Lyrics, entranced my mind
And moves that grooved my hips
Songs of a gifted kind

Kid, befallen Angel
Of Fear, reads in your eyes
Man, eternal Seeker
Torture shows in your smiles

Kid, befallen Angel
A Genius of a kind
Man, eternal Seeker
A poison of the mind

In my room, all darkness
Your tears lifted my gloom
To tune out all the noise
I turned up the volume

In my life, but sadness
Your sun was my rainbow
A heart for me to share
Of King and Pharaoh

Kid, befallen Angel
Of Fear, reads in your eyes
Man, eternal Seeker
Torture shows in your smiles

Kid, befallen Angel
A Genius of a kind
Man, eternal Seeker
A poison of the mind

The father who raped you
Of innocence and highs
Sowing the seeds of doubt
To grow his empty lies

The Devil in disguise
Who lived through your virtues
Holding down with the boot
The innocent, subdues

Kid, befallen Angel
Of Fear, reads in your eyes
Man, eternal Seeker
Torture shows in your smiles

Kid, befallen Angel
A Genius of a kind
Man, eternal Seeker
A poison of the mind

The firing squad proceeds
Sanctions the legacy
Leading to an exile
Desert land of Mercy

They dragged you in the mud
Crucified, your halo
They stoned the heart of Love
Disfigured, a hero

Kid, befallen Angel
Of Fear, reads in your eyes
Man, eternal Seeker
Torture shows in your smiles

Kid, befallen Angel
A Genius of a kind
Man, eternal Seeker
A poison of the mind

They killed the King of Pop
Not a word of remorse
Murdered the heart of Love
Now they feed on your corpse

They killed the King of Pop
For a taste of the fame
Foam-filled mouths that circle
Vultures feast on the shame

Kid, befallen Angel
Of Fear, reads in your eyes
Man, eternal Seeker
Torture shows in your smiles

Kid, befallen Angel
A Genius of a kind
Man, eternal Seeker
A poison of the mind

Michael, you are my heart
My youth, my joy, my pride
Michael, you are my love
Innocent, your divide

Michael, eyes of a child
Candid dreams that outshine
Michael, beauty asleep
Who has reached the divine

Kid, befallen Angel
Fear once read in your eyes
Man, eternal Seeker
Torture has left your smiles

Kid, befallen Angel
A Genius of a kind
Man, eternal Seeker
In death, a peace you find

Comments: God of War

We are the legion of the strong, the most powerful ever, able to dominate the
the world and everything one can see
We are Roman, and I, Mars am their God of domination and war
I stand by Rome in everything they do, the Romans, the conquerors, they always
sing a song of glee
I give my subjects faith in what they do, the strongest army on Earth, scaring
intimidating others to their very core.

I look on my subjects, and I am so very proud, everything they have accomplished
is because of me
I keep the fires of war and conquering others within the Roman heart
Everything my subjects do, everything move they make. I am able to see
Everything they do, I know it from the very start,

My subjects honor and worship me, following the belief to be steadfast in
everything they do
I will only lead them in the right direction, following me you have the most
powerful army on Earth
Everything my subjects do, is always within my view
Son of Goddess Juno and the God Jupiter, I have always been special, since my
supernatural birth.

I don't condone bloodshed, but to be the most powerful, it is a necessity
A   necessity that we the Romans stay in total control
We are the most powerful, we want to forever rule, to all others, hear my plea
Nothing will stop us from keeping our main objective, our goal.

As long as my subjects honor me, I will totally stand by their side
Making sure they have total domination, and everything they shall rule
My subjects will always fight to the death, they will never run and hide
We just want to take our rightful place in the world, we really don't mean to be
cruel.

So with that in mind, we rule and we are the most powerful, and for many years
we shall continue to rule
I will guide my people from the heavens, from the stars
People that follow me, well they are no fools
I will forever stand by my people, I am the Roman god of war, I am known as Mars

I need to forgive the men
Who walked out of my life,
My father, my son, my brother.

I need to forgive the women
Who walked out of my life,
My wife, my mother, my sister.

I need to ask for forgiveness
For the hurt I have caused,
For the wrong I have done.

I need to forgive the pain I have inside.
I need to do the hardest thing in my life,
I need to forgive myself.

Only then,
Will I be able to change.

In The Cup
By Marion L. Jones

I'm about to take you to a place on a hill.
A place where everything God planned, a normal man coudn't stand still.
His Son Jesus was born to to die and take on this task.
He knew of His journey and only one question did He ask.

He fell on His face and prayed, saying,
"O My Father, if it is possible, let this Cup pass from Me;
nevertheless, not I will, but Thy will."

Jesus seen all of the sins that we have done.
In The Cup
He seen what Adam & Eve did.
In The Cup
He looked real deep and saw the evilness of Cain killing Abel.
In the Cup
In Psalms it says my cup runneth over, yes it overflows with His mercies and grace.
Doing His Will without wavering, without haste.
In The Cup
He saw Love, Peace, Joy

He took The Cup and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying,
"Drink ye all of it; for this is the blood of the new testament,
which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
When He looked In The Cup, He no longer see us as we used to be.
But as a new creature in Christ.
Don't let The Cup pass you by, it could be your chance to live or die.

Comments: A Scratch In Time

This wonderful, loving life with you,
has been but a scratch in time,
compared to eternity without you.

I set our love in timeless drift,
a loop for it to never end.
The universe may now play,
this loop again forever.

Each look, each touch,
each word of love we ever spoke,
shall now, and forever, never diminish,
in all the great eternity.

And in this infinite void of space,
there shall always be,
a place where you and I have loved.
And loved we have, indeed we have,
and memories to play.

Against a void of black,
our eternity of love shall shine.
Shine it's speck of light,
of you and I forever embraced,
in sweet surrenders flight.

A Lighthouse beacon,
lit for all the lost souls of love,
that seek their way back home.
Home to a love's sweet embrace and light.
And in the eternal void of infinity,
it has only been but a scratch in time.

Comments: Imagine

Imagine if days never had sunshine
Or if the night had no stars or moon,
If books had no pages, pens had no paper,
Or if a song didn't have any tune.

Imagine if rainbows had no colors
Or if a forest didn't have trees,
If birds couldn't fly, oceans were dry,
Or if with crackers you couldn't have cheese.

Imagine if the sky wasn't blue
Or if the grass never turned green,
If fruit wasn't sweet, animals had no feet,
Or if no variety every was seen.

If we imagine a world without beauty
It helps us to be more aware,
To give thanks and praise to God all our days,
Treat the earth with utmost care.
